Semantic Web

A text describes circumstances in for humans understandable words. How many relevant information a text contains and how good the reader is able to understand it, essentially depends on the topic, on the author and not least also on the reader. Search engines are for the moment not yet able to recognize semantic information from a text - they can find and evaluate only the existing keywords. In other words: you order a beautiful individual homepage, on which your regional offer is in detail explained, but hardly anyone will find these, because there is no uniform procedure to serch regionally and with concrete characteristics like e.g. ebay does.

One can extract the hard facts and relations for nearly each circumstances and add them to the web pages contents as so called „microformats“, which can be evaluated then by specialized search engines. The characteristics of circumstances, as well as the relations with area, time and with other information can play a role. The semantic Web takes care of this topic. For the moment there are unfortunately only few experts, who can handle that, only few search engines, which evaluate this and only few users, who use these!

Empego.net is a content management system, to develope information network works for a certain group of topics. Characteristics of circumstances are gathered as much as possible and as much as necessarily in forms and stored in a data base. Describing text and pictures are decorating accessories, in order to bring to the user found circumstances more near. Also the users can bring in themselves, by bringing in their feedback by evaluations and comments.

The Internet and the globalization is hard for the retail trade and many old structures become dissolved. Who wants to exist here must use the Internet to its favour and has to open new sales ways.
